America's Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country and we believe it is never too late to give them a hero's welcome home. That's why Grane Hospice Care is taking part in the We Honor Veterans program in the Pittsburgh area. Our staff understands the unique needs of Veterans and are prepared to meet the specific challenges that Veterans and their families may face at the end of life.
Grane Hospice Care is committed to honoring our Veterans and their families by providing the best end-of-life care and attention. This means we will integrate best practices for providing this care by recognizing the unique needs of our nation's Veterans who are facing a life-limiting illness. We are better prepared to accompany and guide them and their families to a peaceful ending. And in cases where there might be some specific needs related to the Veteran's military service, combat experience or other traumatic events, we will provide tools to help support those we are caring for.
We have embraced our mission to serve America's Veterans. It's our way of saying thank you for the sacrifices they have made in serving us.
The We Honor Veterans Campaign was developed by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs. This national, pioneering campaign will help improve the care Veterans receive from participating hospice and palliative care providers. Grane Hospice Care Pittsburgh is proud to be a participating member of this Hospice-Veteran Partnership (HVP).
