Thursday, May 6 was the second annual golf outing hosted by Grane Hospice and Sechler Law Firm to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. The outing was held at the Conley Resort and Golf Club in Butler and was open to the general public. In addition to golfing, the event included gift baskets from various donors, a 50/50 raffle, and a raffle for autographed cleats worn by Neil Walker!
In all, the outing raised approximately $3,700 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

During the month of July, Grane Hospice Altoona conducted a Healthy Living Steps Challenge to benefit our Walk to End Alzheimer’s team. The challenge consisted of all participants tracking and turning in their weekly steps. At the end of the the 31 days, prizes were given to the top 3 participants who walked the most steps. This challenge was a fun way to promote good health and physical activity in our own Grane community. Congratulations to our winners below. We’re so proud of all of you for helping make this a success!
