Hi! My name is Jess Charles, and I am one of the Volunteer Coordinators for Grane Hospice. I started my experience with Grane as a volunteer in 2015. Volunteering actually showed me that hospice was absolutely for me, and this is what I want to do with my life. I was lucky enough to take an Administrative Assistant position with Grane in February of 2016. Since then I have become so passionate about hospice care and all that we can do to make this stage of life as peaceful and comfortable as possible for patients and their families. I have been in multiple positions here, and each one has been so enlightening and educational for me. I have worked in various other places, but have not found a family like I have in my Grane family. Grane showed me what I wanted to do with my life, and actually inspired me to go to nursing school so I could further help those on their hospice journey. The comfort, knowledge, and compassion that our team shows is inspiring, and makes me so grateful for my future with this company. I have never had such nurturing, positive relationships with management and I truly feel so lucky to be a part of this organization.
